Book Review: My Pop-up Bible Stories

Few things are more important to me as a mom than to train our son in the Word of God.  So I am always looking for age-appropriate resources to accomplish this task.  My Pop-Up Bible Stories by Juliet David is an adorable, hardcover Bible storybook with exciting pop-up bible scenes.

The stories included in this book are baby Moses, Daniel in the lion's den, Jesus raising Jairus' daughter from the dead, the shepherd and the lost sheep, and Jesus calming the storm.  As you turn each page, you see a beautifully illustrated pop-up scene bringing the story to life and a very short summary of the story.  The thing I like best is that each story includes the Bible reference for where you can find the whole story.  That way you have the option of telling your child more of the narrative once they are old enough to sit that long.

I always feel that pop-up books are a bit too fragile for many kids.  But we just decided to make this more of a "special" book and put it up on a shelf to be enjoyed with mommy or daddy.

I am sure this book would be a hit with any child and it makes it easy for parents to find those precious moments to teach our children about the love of God.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I received a free copy of this book from Kregel Publications in exchange for a fair and honest review.
